Path Follow

Use path Stroke to outline a shape with a dashed line or a custom brush.
-        Choose an image you want to outline

-        Make your brush or choose an existing brush to use and set it to the right size. Make some test swuiggles till it looks right and then undo.

-        In the layer palette, Ctrl click the layers thumbnail to select its alpha.  Choose one of the select tools,  Morwuee (M) or Losso(L).

-        Right-click on the selection and choose “Make work path”.  Keep the tolerance low for accuracy.
Create a new layer and select the brush tool again (B)

-        Go to Window > Paths.

At the bottom of the path palette there are buttons to fill the path, stroke with brush or load the path as selection. Click the second one (the empty circle) to outline the path with the current brush settings.

*if it looks wrong just undo and the path will still be there. After you brush tip settings for spacing and angle control to make the kind of outlines you want.*

-  when you’re done, delete the path or shift-click it’s thumbnail to hide it.

Delay This tutorial took me a day longer than I anticipated to write (you’ll see why from the number of steps), but I hope you enjoy it! Final Image As always, this is the final image that we’ll be creating: Step 1 Open up a new document and go to view>show>grid. Then use your path tool to draw a path in the shape of half a wine bottle. Take your time with this step in order to get a really nice shape. Use a photo for reference if necessary. Step 2 Create a new layer called ‘bottle shape’. Then go to your paths palette and click ‘load path as a selection’. Then fill your selection with black. I had to go in with the lasso tool and tidy up a copy of edges. Duplicate this layer and go to edit>transform>flip horizontal. Then move the duplicate to complete the other half of the bottle shape. Then merge the two layers together. Step 3 Then go to layer blending options for this merged layer and apply a gradient overlay ranging from black to 110202 back to black.

We will create something like this, click on the image to see full preview: Step 1: Document Creation And Sky Create a new document, I wanted this image to use later as wallpaper, so I used 1920×1200 resolution, 72 dpi. Fill background with radial gradient (press G to activate gradient menu) with colors #1773e3 and #0b3972: Step 2: Star Creation Although we will create night effect, we need again to create some stars. Now create new layer ( CTRL+SHIFT+N), right above the background, fill it with black ( choose black and ALT+DELETE to fill). Go to Filter–>Add Noise and add settings like on picture below (amount 20-30): To get lesser amount of white noise, go to Image–>Adjustments–>Brightness/Contrast: Change Blending style to Color Dodge: Step 3 : Ground creation Press CTRL+SHIFT+N to create new layer ( look at screenshot at my layers palette so it’s the same like mine). For this tutorial, I used this photograph I found at Stockvault . After downloading the image, open it in Photoshop.
